In order to live in alignment we all have to recognize our limitations, our specific forms of self care and then ask for help at times. For me, having a cleaner on a regular schedule is an example of just that.
For me it’s a game changer.
Coming home to a house that has not only been deep cleaned but also has had everything put in its exact and proper place is literal heaven. I walk taller, hold my head up straighter, breathe easier, and physically feel lighter in every way. While I recognize that this is an absolute luxury I recommend it to anyone that can manage it, even if it’s only once every few months.
Living authentically and according to my values means I want other people to share in all of the ways in which I feel supported and the connections, businesses and contacts that help me do that. As I said, I think everyone should at least try a cleaner to see if it helps alleviate the overwhelm that can come with running a household, children, pets and balancing life.
Just don’t expect me to share mine.
The number of times I have had to fake ‘asking if she’s available’ for people is starting to become suspect. Plus, I feel like with all of the social media, google, yelp, there really are plenty of fish in the sea for you to find your catch.
Look, I love you all.
Turns out, I love my cleaner more. So in the future, when I get asked for yet another request on her availability you might just hear a different answer. . . What cleaner?
